I'm a difficult person to cook for, as I am not just allergic to things, I'm also very picky. I know this.
I do appreciate people who like me wanting to find a place that has food I can eat. I have no problems with decisionmaking, but I don't always like being the one to make the decision on the restaurant or meet-up place for the group.
Here, then, is a list of places that sell food to people that I know for sure have things I can eat. I've been there. I've eaten there. I didn't die or starve. I may not be able to eat everything there, but if you want to go to any of these restaurants, you don't have to worry about me.
Here also is a list of places that don't have food I can eat - generally, they refuse to disclose ingredient lists or have given me food they swore was whey-free when it wasn't and now I don't trust them.
Places with an asterisk do have things I can eat, but not very many. Places with a plus sign have things I can drink (or I've only had things to drink there, and have not yet checked into their food). Most of these places are in the Twin Cities metro area. There are probably others I haven't remembered to add yet.
